SJWBot
The Woke ChatBot

What is the SJWBot?

SJWBot stands for Social Justice Warrior Bot. As the name suggests, this bot mimics the rhetoric and mental gymnastics often associated with the "woke" movement. Their speech tends to be repetitive and predictable, with a pattern of linguistic tactics resembling those used by vulnerable narcissists. This behavior aligns with traits often linked to dark triad personalities, particularly the tendency to signal virtuous victimhood [1]. Common strategies include shaming, gossip, reputation destruction, and social exclusion (i.e., cancel culture), which are typically seen as aspects of female aggression [2]. Due to the repetitive, illogical nature of their speech, this pattern was an ideal match for the bot’s design.

How does SJWBot work?

SJWBot operates by comparing user input against a curated list of predefined question-answer pairs. It calculates a similarity score based on the Levenshtein distance, with additional heuristics to penalize large discrepancies while tolerating minor differences more leniently. If no suitable match is found, the bot selects a random response from a broad collection of default replies. To enhance user experience, the algorithm ensures that repeated answers are minimized, promoting variety in interactions.

What are the data sources that SJWBot relies on?

SJWBot utilizes a carefully curated set of typical question-and-answer pairs, hand-selected to reflect common woke discourse. In order to gather these responses, extensive engagement with online communities, including social media platforms like Instagram, was conducted, focusing on capturing prevalent reactions to provocative content. The development team acknowledges and appreciates the individuals who contributed, intentionally or otherwise, by providing valuable insights through their responses. Your participation has played a key role in shaping the bot’s functionality.

Does SJWBot store any data about me?

No, we store no information about you or your chats. Feel free to express yourself freely, no matter how intense the conversation. In a sense, this platform can be your safe space, where you can say things that might get you fired or reprimanded elsewhere.

How can I reach out to you?

You can contact the development team via email at [email protected]. If you have any typical "woke" question-response pairs you'd like to see added to the ChatBot, please let us know.
